Dior Introduces B33 Sneakers with Encrypted Key Services

Dior has recently unveiled its latest addition, the B33 sneakers, which incorporate an encrypted key system for enhanced services. These sneakers, designed by Kim Jones as part of the Dior Fall 2023 men's collection, feature distinctive Dior elements and mark the brand's entry into the realm of encrypted footwear.

Launching on July 13, the B33 sneakers will be offered in three variations. Options include a mohair version, a Dior Oblique toile edition, and a denim reinterpretation of the Dior Oblique pattern for the Dior Tears capsule collection.

The distinguishing feature of these sneakers is the inclusion of an encrypted digital key, which is embedded within the sole of the right shoe using NFC technology. This key provides access to a secure and private platform offering personalized services. Developed in collaboration with the Aura Blockchain Consortium, users can utilize the key to verify the authenticity of their sneakers, gain insights into the production process, and receive early notifications for upcoming sneaker releases.

For collectors and enthusiasts, a limited and numbered select edition of the B33 sneakers will be available. Combining mohair with the Dior Oblique pattern, this edition consists of 470 unique pairs, exclusively accessible through Dior's website beginning on July 6.

With the introduction of the B33 sneakers featuring encrypted key services, Dior aims to provide its customers with an added layer of security and exclusive benefits. By integrating technology into their footwear, Dior continues to explore innovative avenues to enhance the customer experience.
