Luxury footwear designer Daniela Uribe, founder of the eponymous brand, recently launched a collection of luxury footwear with digital twins on OpenSea. Uribe's interest in footwear began during her studies at the London College of Fashion, where she noticed that luxury footwear often sacrificed comfort for style. This observation led her to create a gender-inclusive brand of luxury footwear made in Italy that prioritizes both: confort and style.

In an exclusive interview with Intergalactic Deals, Uribe shared how she created her digital collection and why she wanted to incorporate the world of Metaverse and 3D/AR digital twins into her brand. As a new brand, Uribe felt the need to adapt to changing times and understand the value of the Metaverse in order to better communicate her brand's identity to her consumers.

To create her digital collection, Uribe partnered with Threedium, a leading 3D and AR platform that has worked with big luxury players such as Fendi and Chanel. Together, they created 3D/AR digital twins as NFTs of Uribe's bestsellers: the Entwine Sandal, and the Together We Can Sneaker . The NFTs not only feature the designs of the shoes but also exclusive colors that do not exist in the physical world.

Uribe's NFTs come with several perks for the holders, including early access to her collections and the opportunity to be part of the creative process. They also get lifetime access to all of Uribe's events and shows, which are usually exclusive or invite-only. The 3D NFTs offer a sense of exclusivity, making the holders feel like they are part of an exclusive club.

When asked about her thoughts on the world of Metaverse fashion, Uribe expressed her interest in participating in Metaverse Fashion Week next year. In Uribe's opinion, the world of Metaverse fashion holds great potential for the future of fashion. "It's a great platform to showcase my brand to a wider audience, and I would love to participate in Metaverse Fashion Week next year," said Uribe.

Uribe's venture into the world of NFTs and Metaverse fashion shows how luxury brands are adapting to changing times and exploring new ways to engage with their customers. By incorporating the digital world into her brand, Uribe is not only staying relevant but also creating a new experience for her customers. "I think it's important for brands to adapt to the changing times and explore new ways to engage with their customers. It's not just about selling a product anymore; it's about creating an experience," Uribe added.
